More Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Rumors

Just a quick note: Over at Kombo, it’s been reported that there are some telling signs at the Shoryuken forums which may hint at a possible re-release of Marvel vs. Capcom 2:

Hint number 1:

* Marvel vs Capcom 2
* Game version: TBA, DC as fallback.
* Game Settings: Turbo 1, Damage 2, 2/3 Games
* You may not use any glitch that prevent the game from being played. This includes game freezing, game resetting, player freezing, etc.
* Deadbody infinites are allowed to gain a positional advantage, but not to delay the game.
* Winner must keep same starting character, but can switch the order of assists.
* Winner may not use the “Switch Glitch” to have a different starting character.
* You may not use the same character twice on one team.

Originally, the game was labeled as PS3 and Dreamcast.

Hint 2: Question:

Lol ok I’m dumb. Ok thought maybe you guys knew something we didn’t.

Answer:

Oh we do.

Kombo notes that “Mr. Wizard” is the one who heads the Evo tournaments, and has gone so far as to share Street Fighter IV info prior to Capcom’s official announcements. So is he teasing a possible re-release? Judge for yourself.
