We’re Back (again)!

Well, it’s finally done. Eh, sort of.
The holiday season slowed us down a little, but we have finally re-established ourself on a new server, and as you can see, things have been shaken up a little bit. The first thing you may notice is this: The Mega Man Network Blog. With this, we hope to be able to more effectively post and deliver news to you without the constraints of having everything crammed onto the front page of the Wiki. In addition, this format is more friendly for showing off videos and other such things, and letting us keep the newest updates at the top, while still keeping everything categorized.

And speaking of the Wiki, we’ve rebranded it The Mega Man Universe. Following in the footsteps of other franchises such as Marvel, DC, the TransFormers, and more, we like to see this as a reaffirmation of our goal to provide in-depth coverage and information on every facet of Mega Man, from the games to the manga to the cartoons and more.

At the moment, there is still a little bit of coding to be done, but we’ll soon have more Wiki-style features added, including Featured Articles and more. And keep your eyes peeled, as we’re working on a way to manage to get user contributions without the worry of the Wiki being overrun with misinformation.

The Gallery is… on the way. Some stuff is uploaded, more is on the way.

More operational is the return of our MMN Oekaki boards, where you can let your artistic side run wild under the guidance of our own Tabby.

And of course, our forums, The Mega Man Network Community, is once again open for business for all your discussion and conversing needs.

Best of all, you can find handy links to each of these subsections of The Mega Man Network right at the top of this very page.

Of course, I would be remiss not to mention the status of the Music archive; right now, know that we’re working on getting things back in order there as quickly as we can.

And as you can see by scrolling down our front page, we’re aiming to begin featuring more Editorials, including articles from you, the fans of Mega Man. Stay tuned for more information.

So welcome to the newest version of The Mega Man Network, and we hope you’ll have a wonderful time once we’re fully up and running again.
