Inafune Talks Mega Man 10 and Legends 3
In yet another one of his many opportunities to talk with Mega Man Producer Keiji Inafune (come on, share the wealth!), 1up’s James Mielke talks to the Man behind the Mega about numerous Capcom topics, including what fans might expect from the Blue Bomber franchise.
Among the noteworthy parts:
KI: [Mega Man] has been revived based on our users’ feedback. They indicated that they wanted to see it again, so if we can continue to find ways to involve users and use their feedback to evolve the game, I think we can go on to continue to make MM10, MM11, and so on. The main point is how and if we can continue to incorporate user feedback into the creation of the game.
1UP: You have some Mega Man Legends characters in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. Will their appearance build a case for a Mega Man Legends sequel, at long last?
KI: [Laughs] I think you’re reading into it too much. I have hope to make a new Mega Man Legends, but that’s not the reasoning behind including those characters in Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom. I think you’re reading into it too much.
There’s quite a bit more there for the avid Mega Man fan, and we may archive this interview sometime in the future, but for now, go to
1up to find out more about Mega Man, Strider, Viewtiful Joe and the Clover games, Breath of Fire, Dead Rising, and Teriyaki burgers.
