Mega Man 2 hits Euro VC

Staffer Splashman tells me that Mega Man 2, perhaps the best entry in the series some would consider, is now available on the Wii’s Virtual Console in Europe and Australia. This following the original Mega Man, which was released on the VC some months ago. Of course the question is, is it optimized to play on PAL region TVs properly? Splash is doubtful.
No, wait. The REAL question is, when the heck is North America gonna be getting some Mega Man love on the Virtual Console!?
